The best time to visit Lansdowne in summer would be from March to June with temperatures ranging from 15 degrees celsius to 30 degrees celsius. Make sure you skip the core summertime to avoid the hot and humid climate. Another hill station that is close to Lansdowne is Dehradun (only 54 km away).
This small town in Himachal Pradesh has been renowned since colonial times. With British architecture that still can be seen here, Kasauli has been the base for many films and shoots. Here you will find the greenest of landscapes and great views of the snow capped mountain range making it a hiker’s dream come true. This is a suburb of Dharamshala located in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Being a hilly area, this town is popular among hikers. Rich in culture, McLeod Ganj is home to a large Tibetan population. It is also renowned as it is the home of the 14th Dalai Lama. The months from March to June are the best time to visit this beautiful destination.
